An alumnus of IIT BHU Varanasi and IIM-Bangalore with over 25 years of experience in financial services, Sanjay is the self-professed nerd of the firm, and is happiest delving into complex datasets to spot problems and opportunities for our investors. Never one to confuse the urgent with the important, Sanjay sets the priorities for the firm, advancing our long term values and goals. Prior to Quinstinct, he ran his own mutual fund distribution practice (2013-18) and has held leadership roles in Canara Robeco Asset Management (2007-09) and Sundaram Asset Management (2000-07). He indulges his passion for stock analysis and research through his personal equity investments.

Sunil is measured in his speech and quick in his decisions, having made the mental shift from being salaried to self-employed over the course of one pivotal client meeting. He recognized that striking out on his own was the only way he could adopt a client centric approach. With over 20 years of experience in wealth management and banking, he serves as Quinstinct's conscience keeper, ensuring that our initiatives always prioritize the best interests of our investors. His career includes senior roles in operations, sales, and product management at Deutsche Bank, Standard Chartered, and HDFC Bank, apart from a successful stint running his own wealth management practice from 2014 which later transitioned into Quinstinct. Sunil holds a postgraduate degree in management.

Graduating with an MBA from IIM Bangalore, Malar started in sales management and worked across Healthcare, Telecom and FMCG. Along the way, she discovered her passion for personal finance and has completed both the Investment Advisor (NISM XA and XB) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certifications. At Quinstinct, Malar enjoys working with clients to grow their wealth while also leading the firm’s digital initiatives, ensuring that Quinstinct’s messaging aligns with its values. A voracious reader and a fitness enthusiast, Malar values continuous learning, grit and consistency—which she applies both in life and in wealth management.

An MBA postgraduate with over 15 years of experience in wealth management, Pooja has built a strong foundation in client-facing roles, managing regions and teams across renowned institutions such as ANZ Grindlays, Royal Bank of Canada, Cholamandalam, and IIFL. Over the past decade at Quinstinct, Pooja has transitioned from sales to overseeing operations and compliance, ensuring seamless execution and timely client reporting. Committed to maintaining trust and efficiency, Pooja plays a pivotal role in the firm’s day-to-day functions. Believing in taking life one day at a time, she embraces the philosophy that everything happens for a reason.
